Starkis Design Livewire award

Kal Starkis of Starkis Design, and Sharon Peters of Gorgeous
Gourmet, finished runners-up in the 1997 NSW/ACT Operation
Livewire of the Year Award. The awards recognise young business’
successful planning and strategy. First place went to Jason
Donnelly and Sean McKeown of Cycle Tours Australia.
Kal thanks Pat Barbaro of Belconnen Rotary for his ideas
and help with developing a business plan for Starkis Design.
Kal also encouraged other young business people to become
involved with Operation Livewire.
